This summer has been going a mile a minute. Working on Fanboys vs Zombies and getting out to cons has been amazing. I really can't thank all of you who are supporting the book enough. It really means a lot to me that u guys are picking up the book each month. So I thought I would post some of the process of how I handle my page work. The above art is my thumb sketches that I do at 8 1/2 x11 and the fully inked finished art to match.
Right now I would have to say I'm as busy as I have ever been. Working as a pro artist since I was 18 has really given me time to build contacts and it's kinda funny sometimes where the work opportunities come from. For example last week I was contacted by a client I did some caricature work for maybe 10 years ago to do some graphics work. That, plus all the comic work and caricature events have kept me knee deep in art.
The Baltimore Comic Con is coming up next month and I'm cooking up some new stuff for the show. I'm really looking forward to being back in Bmore and seeing some old friends and hopefully making some new ones.
