Art Book and Upcoming Conventions

Spider-Verse print
Convention season is right around the corner so while it's on my mind I thought this would be a great time to drop my convention schedule for 2020. I'm calling it the reunion tour because the last couple of years I have really had to scale back because of health issues. Now I'm healthy and ready to rock, so conventions here I come!

Back from Emerald City

Wow! Emerald City was amazing! I had an amazing time in Seattle and got to meet a ton of new people. The Bill and Ted signing was fantastic too. I can't wait to go back next year!

I'm pretty excited that the next issue of Bill and Ted's Triumphant return comes out next week so I figure it's a great time to post a page!

New Superman Art

Superman print art by me! Colors by Gabriel Cassata

Emerald City Con is next Weekend! I'm so excited about the show! PENG and I will be attending as guests this year. It's going to be fantastic. We love Seattle and ECCC is one of the greatest cons out there. I'll be doing a signing at the Boom! Studios booth on Sunday, but for most of the show I'll be at Artist Alley I-06. Come out and chill with us if you are planning to come to the show. We'll have plenty of prints, and comics plus it's the perfect time to pick up a custom sketch from us. I also wanted to post my new Superman print! The colors are by the super talented Gabriel Cassata.

See ya there!

Back from Emerald City

Kyle Ryner as an indego lantern

sketch cover for my homeboy and fellow Boom! creator Eric Esquivel

Batman zombie sketch for my homeboy Jose

Wow. Emerald City was amazing.  Peng and I had a great time in Seattle with the Boom! Studios crew. We had the chance to see some old friends and make some new ones too.  I sketched a ton of FVZ sketch variant covers and even did a couple of  commission pieces. Peng was totally swamped at Kaboom! doing the Adventure time sketch covers. I just want to thank everyone who came out to hang with us for a bit. Seattle is a great town and you guys made us feel right at home. I can't wait till next year.

Now that we are back we have tons of work to do so I'll keep this post short. Thanks again Seattle. Yall are AWESOME.

Emerald City Commission update

Dusty from GI Joe

Solomon Grundy
Vader commission

My Emerald City Commission Pre-Sale is going strong and I just wanted to send out a reminder that Wednesday is tthe last day to get on the commission list. Peng and I will be signing at the BOOM! Studios booth over the entire weekend so don't miss your chance to get a commission from one or both of us.

Here are the details from my last post:
  • full-body commission (prices are per character) - $100 for color | $50 for black & white
  • waist-up commission (prices are per character) - $50 for color | $25 for black & white
  • what to expect - full-body commissions are drawn on 11x17" smooth bristol | waist-up commissions are drawn on 8.5x11" smooth cardstock | little to no backgrounds (backgrounds are an additional fee - contact me for more info) | my con commissions are colored with copic markers
  • payment - i take Paypal for this only. i do ask for full payment up front instead of at the show. it's absolutely nothing personal. i just want to make sure that if i draw for someone, they really want it.
  • pick-up - you can pick up your finished commission from me as early as the Friday of the show. if you contact me next Wednesday evening with a commission request, then i may have to take your piece to finish after the first day of the show, in which case you can pick it up on Saturday. you can find me at the BOOM Studios booth sketching up  FVZ  covers OR possibly hanging out with Peng-Peng as she draws  sketches on the Adventure Time  side. if you can't pick up your piece for some reason at the show, email me and i'll contact you when i get back home so we can work out details then.
  • want one? email me at jerry@identitycomics.com!

  • What are you waiting for? Give me a shout!

Emerald City Pre Con Comission List

PRE-CON COMMISSION LIST FOR EMERALD CITY!
Commission joint

Another Commission joint
here's something new!  Peng-Peng and i will be attending Emerald City Comic Con for the first time ever at the end of the month! We are both all the way boosted. BOOM! Studios, the great folks that bring you Fanboys Vs Zombies and Adventure Time comics, are having us come all the way to Seattle, WA to sign stuff and sketch even more stuff all weekend. with our strict schedule at the booth, neither of us will have any time to do any personal commissions at the show. soooo, we've decided to try a pre-convention commission list starting now until next Wednesday, Feb. 27th. if you want to get a commission from me, get on my list now and you can pick up your piece from me at the show! interested? here are details.

  • want one? email me at jerry@identitycomics.com!
again, i will NOT be able to draw any personal commissions at the show and the likelihood of drawing one at the end of the day is slim. we are at the mercy of BOOM - what they say, goes! so if you want a commission from me, now's the time. =)

SPREAD THE WORD AND TELL UR FRIENDS!
